Last updated 2 November 2026. We keep this simple: we only use your data to make and deliver your order, and to send marketing if you ask us to.
Who we are

What we collect
- Order details: name, email, delivery address, phone (optional), what you ordered and any gift message.
- Payment: handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.
- Messages: anything you send us through the contact or trade forms.
- Email list: your email if you sign up for offers.
- Site usage: anonymous page views and shop events (e.g. "added to basket") using a random session ID, plus your approximate country. No cookies are used for this.
Why we use it (lawful basis)
- To make, deliver and support your order — contract.
- To keep tax and accounting records — legal obligation.
- To improve the website and prevent fraud — legitimate interests.
- To send marketing emails, and to use advertising cookies (Meta and TikTok pixels) — consent, which you can withdraw any time.
Who we share it with
Only service providers who help us run the shop: Stripe (payments), Supabase (secure database), Cloudflare (hosting), Royal Mail (delivery — your name and address go on the label), and our email provider. If you accept marketing cookies, Meta and TikTok receive information about your visit to measure our ads. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Order records: 6 years (for HMRC). Messages: up to 2 years. Email list: until you unsubscribe. Analytics events: 26 months.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or move your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. Email us and we'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage to remember your basket, gift message and whether you've seen our offer pop-up. These are essential for the shop to work. Marketing cookies only load if you click "Accept".
